Standard Return Window

Most items purchased from Quest Footgear, whether online or at any of our retail locations, are eligible for return or exchange within 60 days from the date of purchase. We believe this extended window provides ample time for you to evaluate your purchase in the context of your daily life and ensure it truly meets your needs. This policy reflects our confidence in the quality of our products and our respect for your decision-making process.

Return Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for a return, items must be in unworn condition and returned in their original shoebox or manufacturer packaging. The original receipt or invoice must accompany the return. These requirements allow us to resell returned items to other customers and maintain the high standards of quality and presentation you expect from Quest Footgear.

Items that show signs of wear, damage, alteration, or are otherwise in unsellable condition cannot be accepted for return or exchange. We encourage you to try on your new footwear in a clean, indoor environment to preserve its condition should you decide to return it.

How to Initiate a Return

Quest Footgear offers multiple convenient methods for initiating a return. For the fastest and most streamlined experience, we recommend logging into your Quest Footgear Rewards account and navigating to the Order Tracking section. From there, select the Return Order tab and follow the step-by-step instructions to generate your Return Merchandise Authorization.

If you do not have a Rewards account, you may still initiate a return by visiting our order return page on questfootgear.com. Simply enter your order number and the last name associated with the purchase, select continue, and you will be guided through the return initiation process.

All returns sent by mail must have an associated Return Merchandise Authorization number to be accepted at our processing facility. Returns submitted without proper authorization may be delayed or refused.

Refund Processing

Once your return arrives at our Online Returns Warehouse, it enters our quality inspection and processing queue. Our dedicated returns team carefully examines each item to confirm it meets our return eligibility criteria. Please allow approximately 3 to 10 business days, excluding weekends and holidays, for your return to be fully processed.

Upon completion of processing, refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Your refund will include the full purchase price of the returned item or items, as well as any applicable sales tax collected on those items. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your refund has been processed by our team.

Following refund issuance, please allow an additional 3 to 10 business days for the credit to appear on your financial institution statement. Processing times vary among credit card companies and banks, and Quest Footgear does not control the speed at which external financial institutions post transactions to customer accounts.

Rewards Credits and Refunds

If a Quest Footgear Reward credit was applied to your original order, the credit value will not be restored to your Rewards account until the original order has been fully refunded. If you wish to reuse this credit toward a new purchase, we recommend waiting until your return has been processed and the credit has been reinstated to your account before placing your new order.

Manual Refunds

In certain circumstances, refunds must be processed manually by our Customer Care Team. Manual refunds are submitted on a weekly basis and may require approximately 8 to 30 banking business days to appear on your statement, depending on the policies and processing cycles of your credit card issuer or financial institution. Manual refunds may take up to one full billing cycle to post. Our Customer Care Team is unable to track the status of manual refunds once submitted, so we recommend monitoring your personal financial account for the credit to appear.

In-Store Returns

Returns may also be completed at any Quest Footgear retail location. To receive a full refund or exchange for an in-store purchase, please present the original payment method and original receipt. For online purchases returned in person, our store associates will process your refund to the original payment method used on questfootgear.com.

Warehouse and Outlet Purchases

Items purchased at our Warehouse Outlet locations are subject to a separate return timeframe. These purchases may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of the purchase date. This policy applies exclusively to purchases made at outlet locations and does not affect items purchased on questfootgear.com or at our standard retail locations. Outlet purchases must be returned to the original outlet location of purchase.

Clearance Item Returns

Clearance items purchased on questfootgear.com are eligible for return within 60 days of purchase, consistent with our standard return policy. These items may be returned online through our standard return process or to any Quest Footgear retail location. Please note that clearance inventory is often limited and items may ship without their original box or packaging, though each clearance item is carefully inspected to ensure it remains in excellent condition.

Clearance items purchased at outlet locations follow the 15-day return policy applicable to those locations.

Manufacturing Defects

Quest Footgear stands behind the craftsmanship of every product we sell. If you believe your footwear exhibits a manufacturing defect—defined as a flaw in workmanship or materials that affects the product’s performance or integrity—we encourage you to submit a defect claim. Manufacturing defects do not include normal wear and tear, damage caused by accident or misuse, or the natural aging and breakdown of colors, dyes, and materials over time.

To submit a manufacturing defect claim, please present your footwear or product along with the original receipt or invoice to any Quest Footgear retail location within six months of the purchase date. For the best experience, we recommend calling ahead to confirm that a trained manager is available to assist with your inspection.

Our retail managers receive specialized training in identifying manufacturing defects across all brands we carry. Following inspection, your claim will be either approved or denied based on the manager’s professional assessment. If approved, we will offer either a replacement item of comparable value or a Quest Footgear gift card as compensation for the defective product.

Policy Exclusions

Certain products and purchase types are subject to return policy exclusions. These exclusions are clearly noted at the time of purchase and include, but are not limited to, specific promotional items, certain seasonal merchandise, and products marked as final sale. Please review your item descriptions carefully before completing your purchase.
